Through data collected through student group evaluations, this article explores the validity and reliability of the adapted Health Communication Assessment Tool. Constantly advancing, the evaluation of communication skills in nursing students is an area of high research interest. The Health Communication Assessment Tool (HCAT©), allows such evaluation of interpersonal skills in a healthcare setting.
