“My teaching is informed by my expertise in simulation-based nursing pedagogy and my passion to be an expert designer of learning experiences not simply a “teacher”. That desire coincides with the technology explosion in nursing and led to my exploration of innovative methods of teaching. I have become a leader nationally and internationally in the use of simulation pedagogy as evidenced by invited plenary sessions and keynotes as well as consultation with many faculties across Canada .“
Dr. Suzanne Campbell (PhD, RN, FCNEI, IBCLC, CCSNE Professor)

Simulation Canadian Text
This foundational overview of simulation for nurse educators addresses the pressing demand for a comprehensive and up-to-date resource for nurse educators teaching with simulation in the ever-evolving landscape of nursing education. The competencies outlined by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing/Canadian Nurse Educators Institute (CASN/CNEI) for Simulation Nurse Educators serve as a guiding framework in this text for the exploration of the essential elements of simulation-based nursing education. These competencies encompass a wide spectrum of skills and knowledge areas that are necessary for nurse educators engaged in simulation-based pedagogy and follow the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice (HSSOBP).

Simulation Scenarios for Nursing Educators
The third edition (2018) of the Simulation-Focused Pedagogy Textbook as co-edited and authored by Dr. Suzanne Campbell, (PhD, RN, FCNEI, IBCLC, CCSNE) and Dr. Karen Daley, (PhD, RN) has a total of 57 scenarios. The textbook explores scenarios within settings including geriatric, pediatric, trauma, obstetric and community-based patient scenarios, and has enhanced interprofessional and primary care (Nurse Practitioner) exemplars.
The scenarios can be easily adopted according to the facilitators needs and integrate an international perspective as well. Each scenario has been recently updated to adhere to best-practice simulation standards as well as includes learning objectives, checklists, implementation suggestions and evaluation criteria.
